The acquisition of Montagewerke Leipzig (MWL) takes place, which will now operate under the name Hertel Leipzig.

The ENNING Group is acquired.
Operating under the name Hertel-Maintenance, the company specializes in pipeline construction with a focus on maintenance for chemical companies in the Rhineland and Ruhr area.
Acquisition by the ALTRAD Group from Montpellier, France
The acquisition by the ALTRAD Group from Montpellier, France, takes place.
With the acquisition of the entire Hertel Group, the industrial service provider expands its portfolio across Europe and worldwide, enhancing its existing services. In addition to the previous disciplines of insulation, scaffolding, and corrosion protection, pipeline construction is now included. This provides the company with a comprehensive range of industrial maintenance services.

ALTRAD's origins lie in the manufacturing of industrial and construction equipment. In this sector, the group is a market leader in the production of scaffolding, concrete mixers, wheelbarrows, and other construction equipment.
Sale of the project division of ALTRAD Industrial Projects & Maintenance GmbH
Three locations with maintenance contracts are not affected by the sale.
Acquisition in the pipeline construction sector through the takeover of the Kiel Group
With the acquisition of the majority of the Kiel Group, approximately 900 employees and customer contracts from 38 locations are taken over. This expands the business to cover the entire federal territory and focuses primarily on turnarounds and maintenance contracts, without neglecting the possibility of new construction projects.
The company is now named ALTRAD Kiel Industrial Services GmbH.
